About us
Babul Ilm — the gate of knowledge
Why we exist
The Qur'an deserves to be learned properly. For many learners — particularly working adults and children with packed school schedules — that has been hard to arrange. Lessons are sporadic, teachers are inconsistent, recitation goes uncorrected for years.
Babul Ilm Online was founded [year] to change that. We are a small, structured Qur'an academy based in [city, Kerala] , teaching learners across India and abroad in three modes: in person at our centre, online over secure video, and as a hybrid for families who travel.
What guides us
-
One verse at a time.
We do not rush. A student leaves Babul Ilm having truly internalised what they were taught, not having ticked it off a list.
-
Certified scholars only.
Every teacher at Babul Ilm holds a recognised Sanad in Qur'an recitation, or is a Hafidh-ul-Qur'an with formal training in Tajweed.
-
Family-respecting hours.
Children learn after school. Adults learn early morning or evening. Working professionals can join at the time their day allows.
What we do not do
- We do not enrol students we cannot teach well. If we don't have a batch that fits, we say so and refund the application fee.
- We do not promise miracles. Memorization is hard work; learning to read Arabic is hard work. We do the work alongside the student.
- We do not share student data, audio, or recordings with anyone outside the academy.
